"One of the most rewarding learning experiences in my life."-- Rachel Ewaniuk '11
The Bachelor of Music with Concentration in Music Technology provides strong musical training within a liberal arts institution to prepare students for leadership in the rapidly changing music industry. Students in the music technology or business concentrations do more than take courses in business or studio production—they take a leading role in producing arts and entertainment for the region, gaining hands-on experience in recording and media production, live sound, broadcast, promotions, management, and more. The Music Business and Technology club provides service to the community, sponsors guest speakers and events, and organizes trips to music industry events such as the NAMM Show in Los Angeles. Students also have numerous opportunities to work on special creative projects, often in collaboration with their professors or other industry professionals.
An audition is required for admission to this degree program. Click the link above to learn more about the audition process and to set up a music audition.
